KC safety certification is controlled by KTL, KTC and KTR, and these three laboratories are all affiliated with KATS (Korea Agecny for Technolgoy and Standards), which is the highest safety management organization.
KC’s EMC/Telecom/RF certification, there are about 40 laboratories in Korea that can perform tests. These laboratories are all controlled by RRA, which is the highest EMC/Telecom/RF management organization.
Voltage: 110Vac, 220Vac 50/60Hz Plug: KSC 8305
Mandatory certification: EMC+Safety+MEPS
Issuing unit: KTC KTL KTR
Certificate validity: Permanent
KC must be certified by the factory, MSIP applicants can be certified
Safety Certification requires initial factory inspection and annual sample inspection
Self-Regulatory Safety Confirmation does not require factory inspection
EMC local testing, Safety can be transferred to CB

The adapter and battery need to apply for Korean certification separately, otherwise there may be problems in customs clearance and market sampling will fail. If the product is less than 400mm², the KC logo can be placed on the product, and the label can be placed on the manual and outer packaging; if the product is large enough, the label must be placed on the product, manual and outer packaging according to regulations. All series applications can be made. If circuit changes or component changes are involved, retesting is required before series. If you apply for Korean certification for the first time, you need to apply for a 3-digit company code from the Korean RRA before certification can be obtained.
