The Serbian competent authority (Ministry of Economy) issued Regulation No. 21/2020 on March 6, 2021, amending the safety and electromagnetic compatibility regulations. The main updates are as follows:
From January 1, 2022, wired products will no longer need to provide a Serbian EMC and LVD Certificate of Conformity (CoC), and will instead accept the CE mark and EU DoC to demonstrate compliance.
Safety and electromagnetic compatibility regulations will take effect on January 1, 2022. Before then, manufacturers should ensure that their products comply with the current regulations.

Type approval procedures in Serbia are regulated by the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications (MTT) and processed by national notified bodies. The conformity requirements are basically identical to those of the European Union (Declaration of conformity according to EU directive 2014/53/EU).
