In addition to product type testing, TISI’s product certification program also includes factory inspections before certification and supervisory reviews after certification. Power adapters for mobile phones and tablets are new products added to the TISI mandatory certification scope with the release of the new standard TIS 62368-1-2563. Therefore, its mandatory date is 480 days after the standard is released, that is, it will be enforced on October 17, 2023.
